CD won't eject/stops playing on long trips

Anyone had any issues with the Standard SR5 Radio not ejecting CDs after playing for long periods of time?

I was on a road trip this weekend and it wouldn't play or eject the CD after about 5 hours into the trip.

The next morning the head unit worked fine. Go figure. :confused:

the Aux jack also only plays to the right channel. Could be the cable. Will test this week with another cable.

Was it a burned cd? Lexus and toyota had some tech bulletins about them being a hair to thick and getting stuck. Real CDs are usually fine.
 
The unit may have gotten too hot and stopped responding temporarily.

I previously had a Jeep which had this problem (usually in the winter when running the heat). I was amazed how hot the disk and unit would get to the touch. I found that running the A/C through the front defroster for a bit cooled things off enough to get the disk out...
