Hey to all, have a question about cleaning the ceiling of my 4Runner. any suggestions? have no idea what's on the material it just looks dirty/dingy like someone tried to fix something (I'm the second owner) moon roof etc. and left dirty hand prints or what ever on the roof. any ideas would be helpful. thanks, CSM-H

You have to be very careful with headliners. If they get too saturated or the use of a strong cleaner can cause the adhesive to break down and your headliner will droop or fall down.
I would try a mild stain remover/cleaner on a damp cloth. Rub softly and use the least amount of pressure and product.

I use one of those small household steam cleaners on my headliner. It cleans well and doesn't saturate the liner. Just steam and blot dry. It's great on any fabric and carpet too. The steamer I have is a Scunci steamer you can get at WalMart, etc.
