Hi guys I got 2 codes P0420 and p0430

i got this after I welded my manifold and forgot conect o2 sensor after i installed exhaust manifold back .

What does codes mean ? How I could fix that . I have no traction control and living in cold alberta .
There is no egg smell . Car runs great !
I have a tick from driver side manifold

up .

Please give me some tips how could I check what causes these CELs . I just spend over $ 1500 on this truck since june and so far i hate it .. people says toyotas are reliable cars lol . manifolds are freaking expensive and the get fault after another 3-4 years . There is some aftermarket headers but also I found many bad opinions about poor quality (bend flanges . wrong dimensions etc)

my truck has 70k miles.

If you have re connected the sensors, reset the code. If the problem is corrected then you should be fine. The codes shouldn't return if there's no problem.

thanks for reply ! Iplugged in o2 sensor right after I've noticed that I forgot to do it but CEL was still active . I'm driving like that long time . Now we got lots of snow here in alberta and I would like to have vsc working .
even when I reset these codes they show up after 2 days .

I haven't got any cel before I welded passenger manifold .

Did you disconnect the ground wire before welding on the vehicle? Did you remove the O2s an catalysts?

How are you resetting these DTCs and have you replaced the sensors?

I removed cat from the car and welded at my buddy shop . Unfortunately I haven't removed o2 sensor while welding so you might be right that something could happened to the o2 sensor . Also after I have installed manifold back I forgot plug in the sensor than i drove about 10 minutes till I got CEL. I get back to my buddy plug in the o2 sensor but cel was still on . before I weld this manifold there was no codes only the ticking noise .

so far my driver side is leaking for sure idk about passenger side cause it's hard to hear . no performance issues . fuel consumption is ok.

I'm really disappointed about my truck :( put so much money on it and every months getting new problems..

i reset codes by disconnecting battery couple times and today I have used a obd reader to get the codes and reset them

Does anyone get set of pacesetter manifolds ? How they working ? I have seen many bad opinions about aftermarket manifolds . they usually not really flat on flange or have wrong dimensions :/
