Well it looks like the check engine light is back.
After replacing the A/F sensor bank 1 sensor 1 it was out for awhile now its back.
This is putting my trust in Toyota at ends.
I might be going back to another type of vehical if keeps up.
By the way I have a 03 V6 with 106,000 miles.

Looking back at the other thread about this I'm a bit confused. The code present then was P0171 which is a System Too Lean code not an a/f code. P0138 would be a b1s1 a/f sensor code. P0171 usually points to the maf meter.

No offense here man, but it IS a 9 year old vehicle with over 100k on the odometer. Not worth getting rid of it just for a CEL.

Good luck

MAF sounds more likely for a P0171 than a B1S1 A/F Sensor. What were the new codes for the vehicle this time? Just because a MIL turns on does not mean its the same problem. Something most people don't realize is that once a MIL is set, many of the monitors on your vehicle simply stop recording/testing and so you could have say an EVAP problem with your car, but the EVAP Monitor never ran because you have an MIL for a P0304 which told the computer to no longer run that monitor. Also, these are older vehicles, if this is the first time you've had to deal with an MIL, let alone a reoccuring one, then count your blessings... most similarly aged vehicles are often riddled with these issues.

Well went and got the OBD II scanned and it came up with code P0136 which was Bank 1 Sensor 2 the O2 Sensor down stream of the CAT which kind of makes sense since the other Sensor 1 went, anyways fixed it drove it and no CEL.
But right after I changed it my MAINT light came on so I had to do a oil, oil filter, and air filter change also.
DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel much better and not as frustrated now. : )
Also my gas mileage went up I can get 26 MPG easy now.
I just wonder if I changed out both Bank 2 Senors (because they are going to go eventually) what kind of MPG I would get.

I get the 26 MPG by lite footing it but the average is around 22 MPG, and that is city driving.
If I drive from Grafton to Boston airport (55 miles) and I set the cruise control on at 68 MPH I can get around 24 to 25 MPG.
I am just getting ready to do the Bank 2 side because you know it is going to happen.

There's no way....I'm assuming that's off the computer read out?

Yes it is and I know its not acurate so I also take the milage and compare it.
Of cours you use the fuel put back in the tank and compared to the milage etc. etc. then do your math calculations and that gives you your MPG with a variance of about 1to 2% factor.
Also remember I am lite footing it.

I suggest an app like Gas Cubby to track you fuel consumption. I think you will find that your estimates are probably closer to a 20% variance. I would say even a claim of 20mpg would be high.

The wife took the T4R just now to go to work and she just called (10:50 AM EST) and told me that she go 22.9 MPG off the computer ( I know its not acurate) just now and that she never gets that she seally gets 18 MPG but she says it idles rough a bit which I noticed also.
So if I replace the plugs and change Bank 2 Senors cleaned the throttle body I wonder how well of MPG I could get.
