cel light as well as vsc off after volant filter change....help!

Hey team
I could really use some help
On the weekend I installed a new filter for my volant
Also cleanted my maf and thought I should reset my computer (took off neg connection)
However I now have my cel light and vsc off lights on
As well my runner is not running smooth at when I am stoped at a light
Please help

Check the maf connections, make sure it is plugged in all the way and all elec connections in tact. Inspect the inside where you cleaned, are any of the wires damaged?

Have the trouble code read by a scan-tool. Many parts suppliers like auto zone have them available. I realize you are NOTB so maybe Canadian Tire?

My rear windsheild wiper will now work or de froster or auto driver window....looks like ill be taking in to get checked out
How long should I of had my batt off for?

sadly ive had to send my truck to the shop
it stalled on me on the way home today
it did start back up but whenever at an red light i had to put in N and give it just a little gas to keep it going.....hope they can figure out whats wrong

it was my maf
it is pooched
getting fixed tommorow

how did you clean it? did you touch the resisitors inside?

thats the thing i did clean it....i have before wth the spray and been very very careful re the maf....but i must of messed up...perhaps it was the cold
im just happy we found out what it was

no prob, hopefully the dealer is having a price reduction on cashectomys.

its funny how poorly the truck runs without the maf, not even a default setting to let you get home without stalling.
