The undercarriage blast at the car wash made my CEL come on
And my 99 limited died in the bay. I started it back up immediately
And the light went out and it is running perfectly. Any ideas
Why this happened ?

NObody has any ideas? Why would the undercarriage water blast cause the CEL to come on and make the truck die? Just trying to make sure something isn't in need of repair underneath.

Get the code scanned. Advance or Autozone usually will do it for free if you don't have access to a scanner. We can't really help you unless we know why the CEL was triggered

Did it blast water all over your coil packs, wires, and other electrical components? That's the only thing I could see that might cause a temporary misfire casuing the motor to die and setting the CEL.

Or else it was a one in a million shot and got water into your intake.
