Center Console/Automatic Transmission

1990 T4r 4x4 automatic trans:

1)Removed the center console and transmission handles and now in the process of reassembling. It does not appear a previous owner used the correct size screws to secure the handle to the lever, 1 that secures the handle from the side and another screw to the back of the handle. I have browsed the 3 vol. set of the repair manual and does not appear there is a section that covers the center console; particularly the automatic transmission console, if so, would appreciate if a member could provide Sec. and page #.

2) I am not familiar with metric sizes and thread counts so not sure in the Body Section of the Repair Manual regarding the 'instrument panel' diagram, which makes reference to 'code', shape, and size; example Sec. BO, Page 48, Code A, size 5 (.20), and L14 (0.55) would this suggest the size screw is a 5-14 metric?

3) Finally, is there a manual, CD, etc., that provides a diagram and describes hardware sizes and type clips, etc..? Find it annoying when the book describes there is X number of clips, and X number of screws but does not note types and size. Perhaps a Toyota Part supplier's web site who provides a description when ordering replacement components, parts, and hardware?

Suggestions/advice appreciated!!
