Center Console

Does anyone know if a center console from a 2000 T4R will fit in a 1997 T4R? I know someone who has one and it's the same color as mine which is a mess. Thanks for the help.

I think it will fit with some modification but it will not be a drop in replacement from what I understand. People have switched them because they prefer the newer layout that started in '99 (Year ?).
