Central Alabama 4Runner meet up?

Would anybody be interested in having a central alabama 4Runner meet up? I know the Jeep JKs have a group like this and I think it would a great time to hang out and get to know fellow T4R owners! Maybe a ride? Or just meet up? I saw the pictures [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] put up from a while back and i was thinking it would be fun to have another meet up.

Sounds good to me man. I'm in Bham the first 3 weekends in August.

I'm down. Just keep us posted. Got some places we can ride around at. Stoney Lonesome up in Cullman is a great place to ride.
 
I'm interested but busy the next two weekends. We need to start throwing around some dates if this is going to happen.

I've been wanting to do something like this. I thought it would be cool to incorporate a ride on the skyway as well.
I have to work Saturdays.
 
Skyway can start in sylacauga and go to talladega. Some awesome views. Stony lonesome is cool, I can do some dirt biking while I'm there lol. It's probably the dustiest place around though.
 
I was just reading about the skyway. That sounds like a nice fairly easy trail, especially for us 2WD guys. All the threads i saw on it were from 2011 & 2012. You know of any newer links? I am really trying to find a map of the different sections
 
I'll check and see. I have a lot of friends that raced the skyway epic. It's a 50 mile mtn bike race. One knows it very well because they did a lot of training rides. He has a 6.0L jeep he would probably love to go. They views are pretty awesome from what they say. I think we should try and pin down a date. I could do a Saturday if it was mid afternoon.
 
So when would everyone be free? I am free just about any weekend so any Saturday works for me. I've never been on the skyway so that sounds interesting!
 
I'm game give me a date whenever as long as it ain't during the week haga. Gotta give me a week notice so I can take off work
 
How about mid to late afternoon. Meet somewhere close to the trail, hangout for an hour or two, start the trail in the daylight, finish in the dark. Maybe mid month?
 
If it's narrowed down to Saturdays and before football starts, I'd say the 23rd.

I could possibly make the 16th work as well but the 23rd would be better and give us a little more time for planning.

For the record I could probably make it on most game days, but it sounds like most people are giving the game days a negative.
 
I am available the 16th, and the 24th. Unfortunately have prior engagements all day 23rd, and I'd say that's probably the best day to do it
