The group buy is going to have a change of pace with a new website for purchasing. This will make the process much more streamlined and hopefully reach out to other people that are not apart of the TW group and trusting some guy on a forum they never been on. The main goal is to move the buys along quicker without having to watch the thread constantly.

For the most part everything will be the same. I had to include the PayPal fees into the price because I cannot have a friends and family paying option unfortunately. But with the discount code it brings the price down to 1750 and the tents are shipped directly to your door as always. No longer does the buy have a set amount of people needed, soon as it’s possible the buy will happen. That alone should move things along quicker as my flatbeds and canopies take a good amount of room. Updates for the groupbuy will be done through the email accounts linked with your tent order.

Alright second buy is completed, I am home and rested. So some details that is changing from the last buy. The price needs to change as things came out to be little more expensive than planned, I would rather be on the safer side. So Shipping as a whole was $150, I capped it off because that was my word on the high end of shipping and I stuck to my word rather than hit everyone with $50 more than they had planned. And the last change is the shipping charge collected at a later date, its hard to keep up with and track so I will just collect the entire amount up front.

If you interested in a Wedge, or larger model express your interest. Preferable I would like to have atleast 5 of each tent so I can order an extra of each for a safety net

Alright guys so here it is or almost is

So I decided a while back that I wanted to offer a hardshell RTT but without the hardshell pricing, I figured it was something that I could handle and hopefully benefit some people that want to upgrade or have been holding out for an affordable hardshell RTT. So here I am, offering a hardshell to compete with soft-shell pricing

The details

Hardshell RTT
Your choice in Colors: Black/White shell, Green/grey/tan fabric
Dimensions- Outer 85"x53"x12" Inner 47.5"x81"x36"
Fabric 280g UV/water/tear proof
Fiberglass/stainless construction


1yr warranty, this warranty is a manufacture warranty. I order extra tents in case one is shipped with a defective part so I can swap out on the spot, having a same color combo extra may or may not happen depending on the color combo. Whatever happens I will do my best to make sure you are taken care of by dealing with the manufacture myself.


My shipping plan is literally delivering each tent myself, you will have the tent within a couple of days after I receive them

I am in the market for a hardshell RTT, can you post videos of the tent opening and closing?

At that price point I am VERY interested, however I have many questions and would like more info on the tent. Some of my cursory questions: Is the fabric removable? Is the ladder included in price and does it fit inside the tent when closed? Is it waterproof? What is the wind resistance rating? Is a sleeping pad included?

I can get a video together for you, give me a couple of days since I am away for work. Its just a total of 8 buckles that keep it down, 2 on each corner, after undone you just push it up on each side and it pops in place with the help of struts on the inside. First time set up was 1:15 and tear down at 2:45

Fabric is removable if wanted besides the window portions. It unzips at the top and clips at the bottom. But I can't suggest doing it often as it may wear the clips out on the bottom that provide a good seal around the bottom edge.

Ladder is included and comes in its own bag and meant to be stored inside the tent, the bag is to keep your sheets clean on the inside when the ladder is stored away.

Yes the tent is water proof, my first night in the tent was heavy rainfall without issue besides the fact that I left the window wide open lol

Wind resistance rating I couldnt say, its pretty solid but I can't give you an actual mph rating.

Yes it has a mattress inside already

really? 1500 seems like a great deal for what has been pictured. i'm sure after shipping from the "mainland of china" your 500$ tent will be more like 1500.

I'm not in the market for a RtT right now but op the tent looks great i'm liking the color combo in 4 vid

I don't want to speak for OP, but think about the logistics of getting the tents from China to the US, then think about the logistics that go into distributing a container full of RTTs throughout the country. It's not easy, and not cheap. Also, OP is going to be providing 1 year of warranty service for us, again, not cheap. If you aren't comfortable with the price, try going through Alibaba and see if saving $200-$300 is really worth the headache, or do what OP is doing and make it worth your while.

Oh I completely agree, it is a headache, logistics and all but if you can get a full container full for 650 a pop plus the nightmare of shipping them I still see 1500 being on the high end. Now if he is getting these locally made then yes 1500 is an excellent deal.. but when I see group buy I think a great deal and if they are coming from China then I expect closer to China prices... not inflated American.
I do appreciate what the op is doing, the nightmare of shipping and receiving and he should def make a good profit for his troubles

Trust me my tent cost me way more than I had thought, it was a eye opening experience but now I understand how it works and offering the same tent everyone else offers for much less.

I know and I was serious about my offer haha. Unfortunately you need a much larger order to even get the best pricing and if you wanted a custom color you need a minimum 100 tents ordered all in the same color, I wish I could do that but that's a lot of tents
