change of plans: JVC KW-NT3HDT

I had ordered the JVC KW-XR610 from Crutchfield, but it's been on backorder for a few weeks, called yesterday and they have no idea when it will be back in stock .... so I wet hog wild and bought the JVC KW-NT3HDT

JVC KW-NT3HDT Navigation receiver at Crutchfield Signature

AM/FM/SAT/CD/DVD/NAV/HD HU

double DIN and supposedly the only NAV system with a detachable faceplate

plus I have the Steering Wheel Audio Control Adapter, so that will continue to work as well

looks like it had lots of good reviews

Anyone here have on already ?

did you use PAC SWI or AXXESS control for steering wheel buttons?

did all buttons work?

PAC SWI-is what I have, and yes- everything works

still loving this system, one thing that I noticed (and kinda surprised me)

While I was listening to SIRIUS, the NAV unit kicked in and told me to check my speed

Sure enough I was (accidentally) driving 10 MPH over

might have saved me a ticket !

SIRIUS interface can not be seen and SAT radio is controlled thru the HU

hooked mine up like others here have, (DVD will play while driving, but I didn't set it up for that, I wanted my driving partner to be able to change things in NAV, while we are on the go)

Does the Nav work well? Does it work good with an ipod hooked up( scrolling through songs,shuffle, easy selecting and searching through library)
