Change Temperature Units 5th Gen

Hi I bought I new 4runner Limited 5Th Gen , and I would like to change temperature units from front display as well as climate controls, from Farenheit to Celsius , and unit from odometer from miles to Kms!!

Can somebody help me in how can I do it ??
I got no answer at all from the Configuration from the main center display !!!

Use the DISP button on steering wheel to cycle through until you see Hold button to change settings. you can make all the changes that you want once in that menu.

Did you truck come with a manual? :nod:

Tks Narow but from that button you can only change the speed of the little display on the cluster , but not from the miles and farenheit which are ta the bottomof that display !
I could change the digital speed biy not the odometer either the temperature.
Thanks for your help and everything you can tell me I will do it !
On the climate control also says farenheit ..

Thought there was already a thread about this somewhere. Unless something changed with the 2014 or is different with the Limited you can't change the units from metric to imperial or vice versa.

My 4Runner is from the States and everything is Imperial. I can't change to Metric. Give me a Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion question and I'll be able to answer in a heartbeat now! I really don't mind.

What I could not understand is that in the main display says change Units and it is not possible to do it !! why they put this possiblity and there no chance to do it ..

Sorry Charlie, but us Americans don't need to change to metric anything. Maybe a letter to Toyota in Japan would generate some interest, but I doubt it. You should work with your dealer.

Thanks RickC5 but they must think that not only Americans use this car , which If you see all over the world you will see that much more are used outside the States , than inside, were all use Metric information!!!!
And the most important thing to realise is that you have the option in the central configuration computer, and It doesn´t answer to the change..

I stand corrected Charlie.......
I interpreted incorrectly what I read.
As others stated, only the top portion of that cluster can be changed.

something amazing having the possibilty to change them from the central computer in the general , configuration panel ..

It is too bad that we are not able to change the display unit. I tried so many time but no luck. I go to Canada from time to time, I think I will visit the dealership over there and see if they can do anything about it.

Did you try toyota techstream, I used it to change my 2011 LE from ferinheight to celsius.

As 1000MPH said it should be under unit conversion. I try and plug it into the truck this weekend. Did it a long time ago.
