on the left side, and during the time, I lost what I think is the dashpot cover? Its a little plastic cover with a small circular filter in it. I was driving to pep boys and my idle went all the way up and was stuck. I shut off my truck right away and pulled over. I started it again and it was normal, then I revved it up a little and the RPM's went up again. So I decided to drive it home on the 3rd time, I was right around the corner. I drove it normal and nothing happened, but it seems if the rpm's get a little high. Is what I am describing the dashpot, and would this cause it? I only changed the valve cover gasket and didnt have to take much off except throttle cable. Thanks
