Changing Coolant

Hey,

I just did my first drain and fill today. It was a messy one because I couldn't get a decent hose on the rad plug so I just let it drain onto the skid plate then into a pan underneath.

Is there not a better way to do this? Can anyone give me some pictures?

I think I found the mythical engine block plug as well, but I decided against trying to open it up as it was a real !@#$ to get a socket onto in the first place.

You could always remove the skid plate and you can have it pour out onto a drain pan.

Thought about it, removal of the skid plate would mean getting the torch to cut the bolts (bought it with significant undercarriage rust).

But if there's really no quick one, I think I'll have to do that and get either fresh bolts onto the skid plate or discard altogether.

Just remove the skid plate and everything will be simple. lol on the mythical. It's actually really easy to get a socket on that bolt.
