Changing rear wiper

Ok, I've been trying to replace the rear wiper but can't seem to be able to get the old one off. How do you get this thing off?

Are you trying to replace the wiper, the arm, or just the blade?

If just the blade, lift out the arm, maneuver the blade past the lip on the end, and slide out. Take out the metal strips, place in the new blade, slide it in. Be sure the curve on the metal support strips has the ends toward the window.

Here's the relevant piece of the 4th Gen service manual for replacing the rubber blade. (Is that what you're after, or are you looking to take it apart?) The wording isn't terribly clear, but it gives you an idea of what's supposed to happen.

I just replaced the whole thing. It was 12 from the stealer. Mine was very hard to get off too! I was afraid I would break the arm off, but it was just a little crusty. After some wiggling it popped off and the new one has been great so far.

Bought mine at dealership for about $12. When I was at the service dept having keys made, one of the guys put it on for me.

Still no better. I noticed that the blade pressure on the glass is not that great. Is that adjustable?
