My dad just bought me a used 96 4Runner with 3.4 V6, TRD supercharger, URD 7th injector 35" Mickey Thompsons, front/rear end gears, 4" Fabtech suspension, 2" body lift, all tricked out. There is something discharging my battery. I hear a clicking then whirring sound coming from the VSV /EVAP canister. I haven't gotten the whole seventh injector scoop down yet, but could that be causing the battery to discharge? Somedays it can go a week without needing a charge/boost. Other days the battery will drain over night. Has anyone experienced this problem with this model year? Whats the best way to troubleshoot/identify a short? Any help for a newbie would be greatly appreciated.:wow:
