Anyone recommendations on a good shop or mechanic in the Charlotte, NC area? Need alittle work done on the beast. Been using the dealership for last few years. Looking for someone independent.

Im in the charlotte area and to be honest there isn't anyone i have brought mine to. You may have some luck on facebook. Theres a car group called charlottemotoristclub (ask to join) and then there are thousands of people on there that will have recommendations when you post.
