Cheap Ebay Mod

I have a 2001 Sport . It has the metallic sport trim inside. I bought this off of Ebay for about $8.00 plus shipping. It really fit nice and is made out of Brushed stainless steal. Blends GREAT with metallic trim. (Before and after photo). Have some othere goodies I got off of EBAY (like a 2002 Sport skid plate) that Im going to put on. Will post photos Later.

Never even heard of anything like that before. I wouldn't do it but it's not a bad idea.

Man I had that on mine a while back, and it feel off like a month or two later.. lol

Yea , I was afraid of that too , thats why I used 3M tape that we use on our aircraft at work

LOL yeah that might look kind of strange, but you could try it!

The first photo is the photo after I installed it. Some folks like em..some dont. Thats O.K. Thats whats nice about makeing Mods to a Car..or house or whatever.Your not trying to please anyone but yourself AKA making your on mark.I personaly dont care for Brushgaurds , 20 in. rims, low profile tires , ect...BUT...If someone else Likes them and wants them on their ride, Ill be the first to help install them if I can.

I got these guages off ebay for like 50$ they are great.. everyone that see's them loves them they have green and blue and are white during the day

you have to go to parts and type in 4Runner. I found a new 2002 skid plate for my 2001 sport for $100.00. I also ordered some tail lights and a few other goodies. Also check out Auto anything. They have good prices. I just ordered a 1 1/2 in. Daystar lift for $211.00 with free shipping.

Nice gauges, I'm thinking of customizing my own from www.speedhut.com You can choose from several different colors, fonts, and even put your own logos on there.. lol

it was easy to do the guage swap took about an hour and a half... done neatly and im no mechanic...

yea, I think mikes runner has gotta be just about the cleanest 3rd gen in existence i can see a blue ice chest in the reflection on your bumper

now that im done modding, i gotta take mine to the "shop" (my friends driveway) and wax and polish and COMPLETELY Detail it, and use my zaino stuff...

Then I will take pics with my Nikon D80, and see how it looks
