Hey all, are any of you guys running the cheap led light bars etc. off of like Amazon or Ebay. How are you liking them? I spent $200 for a 20" light bar and my brother just got a 20" and 2 smaller ones for like $60 on Amazon. Wondering the difference... thanks
I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I want to get a light bar in my bumper and have it connect to a rocker switch (the zombie hunting lights one). I'd like to hear others' feedback as well. There's one on amazon with a 3 year a warranty for $20
I have a mictuning and opt7 led bars 22" and 14". The opt7 seem a little better to me but havent put them side by side yet. Might just be the fact I paid a little more for the opt7.
They still put out decent light for what they cost. The light does have just a bit of a purple hue to it vs the clean white of rigid's for example. A major pitfall of the cheaper ones in my opinion is their seals... be sure to tighten the covers on them if they have the little allen head screws. That will help to keep water out.
I use this one. The first one I bought made a loud humming noise and it was driving me crazy through the cabin. I wasn't sure at the time what the source of noise was (bad light, poor ground connection, etc). I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. The new one is great. Super bright, doesn't build up water inside, easy to mount, no noise. I can't really complain. For how cheap it was it's still cheaper to replace it rather than get one expensive rigid. Then again, I'm a college student so I couldn't really justify a 2K light lol
I run cheap led's with CREE bulbs. They are also known as a pretty good LED. No issues so far and they have been hammered with rain, snow, mud and then power washer!
