Cheapest place to buy OEM parts?

Of course. Sadly RockAuto does not sell OEM parts and only Toyota makes the intermediate steering shaft.

A lot of people suggest buying from Camelback Toyota. I have no idea what this means though.

Depends on where you live. Try to find a Toyota dealership close to your location that doesn't charge tax. Shipping varies by site.

Normally I would of said Camelback Toyota (Phoenix Toyota dealership) since I've done business with them. But since I live in AZ, they charge me tax. I still do business with them, but selectively.

They aren't the lowest though.

Edit: the best way to find the lowest price is to go to one of the online Toyota dealerships and get the part number. Then use Google to find the lowest price. Prices vary by online dealership as does shipping and returns.

trdparts4u run out of Toyota of Dallas is always a good place to get cheap oem parts. you can also look on LQK to see if they have any salvaged ones. i just had them pull a new quarter window to replace the one i shattered wheeling. paid 35 bucks for one out of an 2007.

I bought one from a yard out west I found on car-part.com for about fifty bucks.

I don't remember which end or where but when you put the first end together check where the other end is sitting. We had it on the other side of something and had to take it apart and start over. Don't turn your steering wheel or move your wheels after it is off.
