check engine light flickers under throttle

ok so under load the check engine light will flicker as im accelerating and becomes solid if im at W.O.T.

I think its the TPS that is throwing the code but cant tell because at idle the check engine light goes off

Any other thoughts would be handy

Update the light only comes on after 30mph and the manifold is still glowing but its not running lean and the cat is not clogged. Timing is dead on but it runs really rich i cant figure it out.

Your check engine light is coming on but there is no code stored when you go to check it?

I have the same problem.. just bought it yesterday and didnt come on till about 3 hours into getting it home, if i throw it in N and rev it a lil it will go off... confusing the heck out of me.. let me know if you figure it out

update.
I made sure it wasnt throwing a code and sure enough its blank i cant even get the check engine light to flash it just stays light in the on posistion, i have the diagnostic box with E1 and T

Im going to set timing to 5 BTDC then jump the ecu curcit and manually set the timing to 10 BTDC that way the ecu will be tricked into thinking the timing is 5 BTDC but the ingition will be advanced. Proper fuel better burn!
