Hey guys the other day my check engine light came on... whats the best way to go about resolving this issue, cuz i've heard that most of the time its a dummy light but i'd hate for there to be somethin wrong and me not really know about it after i just disconnect the light. help!

Hook a code reader to it, find out what the problem is, and rectify the issue. Many auto parts stores will read it for free for you. Or you can buy a code reader for well under $100 (got my son one for Christmas for $50 on sale).

hmmmmm sounds like a plan. i was thinking about doin that and you tellin me that just makes it official. im goin tomorrow. thanks man!
