Check Engine?

I've been getting this code "P0773" for a couple weeks but the truck has been driving/shifting perfectly fine. Just wondering if anyone has had the same code and what they did? forget about it? bring it to the stealership? I'm in school right now and don't have money to blow on a not so serious problem when I could be spending it on upgrades.......and textbooks of course.

Its actually sort of weird, when I first bought the truck the transmission would have trouble getting back into first gear after getting off the highway but that problem has gone away. Also it would be a little rough starting and wouldn't roll forward when i took my foot off the brake, that's fixed itself as well. The truck had been sitting for a couple months before I bought it.

Bumping this up.. I have the same issue.

CEL first came on the moment I hit a mild bump. Like hit a patch, cel came on. Pulled the code, cleared it, and after 80 miles it came up. Oddly enough, it came up the 2nd time as the car downshifted into a lower gear (put my foot down on the accelerator to pass a car). I somewhat feel like had I not floored the car it wouldnt come back. I cleared it again lol.

Car shifts fine however and after 40-45mph it locks up. Car does 1800-2000 rpms @ 60mph so I know its locking up.

Anyone else with this issue? Doesnt seem like a common 4R problem, more a camry problem.

I believe that code corresponds to a solenoid in the transmission. I can't remember which one though, or if it is a generic one. Short of dropping the pan and checking the ohm readings of the solenoids with DVM to find the culprit, there is not much one can do.

Since there is not a direct link to the FSM anymore, I can post the correct ohm readings later, or by tomorrow.
