check out my new tires

first of all im not a frequent poster here i just started coming to this forum around june and when i first started here as an 18 year old i knew nothing about my 4runner and even less about tires and lifts. But after posting around i got lots of help from all you guys and ive learned so much in a few months and i finally decided to save up for lift and tires. I had my tires installed this morning for 491$ they are nitto terragrapplers 265/70/17s and they are great!! i took them through mud and some gravel as soon as i got them they handle very nicely!! here are some pics

i also debadged it and removed running boards, as for the lift, its on its way, ill have to update.

Good looking runner...I jsut had to post to say "Roll Tide". PM me if you hear about any good deals on football tix this season.
 
I would love to try a set , I wish they were available locally .

Anyone have a ride comparison to BFG AT's ?
 
the tickets are runnin high this year because they are so scarce,even after the stadium expansion, student tickets were gone so fast alot of people didnt get them.

as for the lift im gettin the cornfed lift from burtman industries, i should have it on in a week ill update
 
Wow, what a big difference from the stock tires!

I'm going to seriously have to start considering getting some of those now.
 
yeah the 265/70/17 look almost like they're going to rub...i hear that they dont tho..and the 70's actually BARELY fit the spare location. Good choice on the Cornfed lift...im no suspension freak..but does anyobdy know if adding spacers reduces the life of your shocks or any other suspension part? and obviously voids the dealership warranty, no?

it really is a huge difference the picture just dosent do it justice, you just have to see it for yourself

Crimson - Any rubbing issues with the front tires, w/o the lift? Those meats looks great! Thinking about putting a set of those on my Runner, and was just wondering if I could get away with doing only the tires for a while ...

I know this is not directed at me , but I have 265/70/17 Revos on without a lift and no rubbing issues. Nitto & BFG AT in nthose sizes should be ok.

spare fit with weight dist hitch

Does the spare fit with the weight dist hitch?I have only found it to confirm with the non weight dist hitch thanks ps could one also post a pick if so.
