I never noticed the water in the headlight. That must mean that was not the first deep water crossing that day.

Snorkel or no, I don't think I would have the inclination to charge, at speed, into that situation with my vehicle.

I suppose for some, their 4runners are just big 4-wheelers. Mine still needs to be able to get me to work come Monday morning. LOL!

He went into it with a lot of speed so it looked impressive but its not thaaat deep. It's one thing to dunk the front end momentarily on entry. The water doesn't have to be that deep to do that.
I've gone hood deep several times this winter and then driven to work the next day. One night I went into a hole that was deeper than expected and completely submerged the headlights. I was driving in pitch darkness through the deep of it until I started coming out the other side. I'll admit that that one was risky, but overall, as long as you keep moving, water doesn't get into anything that it shouldn't.

Yeah, my buddy in his 3rd gen went through first, but it wasn't nearly as deep for him. I must have landed into a big hole when I dropped in. This was at Badlands offroad park in Attica, IN. There were a bunch of quad riders watching us, and they all cheered when I came out of the water.

Well who would have thought it was deep enough to come through the sunroof? I'm just glad I put my deckplate back in the airbox just before that!

Totally agree. He went way too fast. Should have just kept a nice slow movement through the water to create a bow wave in front of the truck.
