15 years old and want 18k. Think about the change in simple technology since then. I mean just look at the interior pics. yeah its low mileage, but it makes me wonder what the previous owner did that they only put on about 3500 miles a year.....or maybe they just forgot about it. Cool find, but for same price you could find a nice 4th gen.

Thanks for sharing as I'm always looking at land cruisers as well, and this one is definitely a cherry.

Saw a beautiful cherry '89 LC the other day with no real rust and the interior looked brand new. Didn't catch the mileage but for the right buyer I could see the 10k asking price being fair if it was as clean and well kept under the hood and under the car.

If I could have gotten a 2004 LC100 with even a 100k on it in as good condition as my '04 4Runner at 86k for the same 19.5k asking price. I would have strongly considered it.

Yup, definitely a lot of technology changes since then. But for someone looking for a nice condition older model, they already know they won't be getting all the new tech. Being from MN, I imagine it belonged to some older person who wintered in Florida and only drove this a few months a year when they were in MN for the summer. Lots of people like that up here.

I'm actually surprised to see a nav system next to a tape deck.

Lexus was the last manufacturer to use tape decks in vehicles, I want to say 2006? was the last year you could get one, maybe 2005.

Probably because the usual Lexus population still owned cassettes and they had to appease those baby boomers. #oldballs

TBH the dealership knows what they have and have priced it somewhat respectably based on the market.

95,554 LX 470's were produced and sold in the USA from 1998-2007 CUMULATIVELY
Conversely, over 110,000 3rd gen 4Runners were sold in the year 2000 ALONE.

Simple supply vs. demand. Someone WILL buy this at close to that price.

Somebody on Reddit said that 100 and 200 series Land Cruisers do not have diff lockers! :0 This is true?

False

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

false, but kinda more true than false.

100's only had the option of a rear locker in 98 and 99. All 100's have a center diff lock.

200's only have center as far as I know
