I like some of the cues, but the grille is horrendous. Looks kinda like a mitsubishi, as someone in the expo portal suggested.

I wonder why he didn't use something more similar to the 80s PU & 4R frontends, more like the original mockup.

I honestly thought that this build would get more positive reviews from you guys. Granted it's not a 4Runner I can somewhat understand. I would have to agree that the front grill could be reworked as well as the rear bumper. It's an interesting truck nonetheless.

It's a very well built truck, no doubt. BUT the front end is fugly!

If they left the front end alone and made the armor black, it will have a more rugged appearance. As it sits now it just looks cheesy. I'm a huge fan of function over format but with the skill of the work and the money put into it, I would expect more.

It has a lot of cool features, I just don't understand why they ruined the front and rear ends on it... I thought it was supposed to look like a hilux p/u, then they completely changed the grille, and shaved the tails to make the rear bumper look like a roll pan...?

I see what he was going for with this and in theory it's a cool idea. The outcome is definitely one of a kind...hopefully it stays one of a kind though. Yucky.
