Need help ASAP, goin to shop tomorrow in denver.
Clutch noise without engine running=clutch release pivot???
When clutch engaged=Throwout/Release bearing???

I really need help ASAP.

You need a throwout bearing and the linkage lubed. The clutch's pressure plate has a ring of fingers (about the diameter of a RedBull can) that ride very close to the throwout bearing or drag on it slightly when the clutch is disengaged. When you press the clutch the fork on the linkage has to push on those fingers to disengaged the clutch. The throwout bearing is mounted to the clutch linkage and allows the non-rotating clutch linkage to push on the rotating fingers. The bearings occasionally wear out.

They have to drop the trans to get to it. It's probably worth replacing the clutch as well given how labor intensive the project is.

As a driver you minimize the wear on the bearing by idlling for long lights in N rather than with your foot on the clutch. The other thing drivers do wrong is rest their foot on the clutch pedal. Bottom line is the less time your foot is on the clutch pedal the better it is for the clutch and throwout bearing.

I've been reading tons of info on this subject.

Q: I bought this truck about 3 weeks ago. The clutch engaged about 2 inches from floor. When looking at the clutch assembly inside truck i noticed the push-rod nut was loose. The spun out the push rod and tightend nut. I was able to engage clutch 6 inches from foor.

By doing this did I mess up the release of the TO bearing?

Maybe, you might have adjusted it too far. You should be able to push the clutch approx 3/4-1" with no significant resistance. The term is 'free play'. If you have it so tight that there is no free play the bearing is riding on the clutch the whole time. I'd confirm the free play. If there's none adjust that rod length until there is and try it. You might just need to adjust it rather than repair it.
