Just wondering if this product is safe to use for cleaning fuel injectors. It has great reviews on Amazon....

Not bad stuff to use, but try BG 44k to yield better results IMHO.

I didn't have any problems when i used it. One of the service guys at my local dealership recommended it instead of using the machine to power clean because of the potential to knock big chunks of stuff loose and have it floating around in my engine. He said there was the potential for that with an engine as old as mine with an uncertain maintenance history.
So I used it in a few tanks and although i didn't really notice a difference, I will say that my engine runs like a top.

Wont cause any problems but it is more a preventitive than a repair. If you have plugged or dirty intjectors it wont help much at all, you will need to have the injectors flushed. I put a bottle of injector cleaner in my rig every month and i switch fuel brands a lot to help keep injectors and valves clean.

I have used it regularly since the truck was new. I just dump a bottle in the tank just before every oil change except when sending out to Blackstone (once every two years or so.) 170k, 15 years and no engine problems yet.
Used it in my 1985 735i BMW e23 for over ten years, too. Engine ran great with 245k on original injectors--never serviced--when my daughter totalled it in 2003.
I have been feeding it to my older son's 2008 Hyundai Accent since new, going strong at 110k. Only problem was electrical (crappy coil).
And also for 60k on youngest sons 1999 BMW e36 323i now with 170k, purchased in 2012, and engine problem free.
If some other product could give better results I can't imagine what those would be.

It works well, been using it for years.
Keep in mind it's not really meant to clean dirty injectors, more to keep them clean.

Thanks for your responses. I bought 6 pack from Costco for $20. I plan on using one bottle every few thousand miles.

It's exactly the same stuff that Chevron puts in their pump gas. It's safe.
