Well its my first post here at T4R.org, anyways lets get started:
for quick intro im just a welder who loves fabricating
a small picture of me

i weld mostly stainless steel grade 430,308 and 304L ,for comercial counters,kitchen hoods,and such

ok so lets get started;

FIRST

-custom made bumper(demello offroad style)
-hid fog lights inside bumper
-black powder coated,and everything else black(i hate chrome)

THEN
-DS lift kit 2.5/1.5(i know it sucks but for now until TC long travel)
-MT classic 2 black 17'
-280/70'S KM2'S
-Brake rebuild ,drilled zinc plated rotors+ceramic pads (the do it yourself stuff)
-VSC mod and wut i think about it
-Tacoma ARB Safari Snorkel - SS170HF (CUSTOM FIT) since they dont make one for 07 runner
-custom rear tire carier bumper

and many other mods to come ..

so for the front bumper i started to take apart my old one and mesured the distance of holes and patern on the part thats bolted on the frame,and i started doing my brackets;

at first i wanted to do it in satined steel 14 guage sheet

but then i opted for 1/8 galvanised steel plate,gonna be stronger

i started by cutting my holes for rad air,with plasma

089.jpg~original

then bented the front sheet

my frame was made out of 304l stainless 1/4 iron angle

then cutted side peices and tacked them to the front peice,and checked distance and clearance with everything on

:welcome:...That's an awesome bumper, your lucky that you have such a talent. I wish I could fabricate something that would look half decent enough to bolt to my rig lol Don't forget to post pics with it all done!!

Looks good. How much will it weigh when you're done and will you be able to mount a winch in there anyplace?

thx guys ! i will provide much much more pictures dont worry

How much will it weigh when you're done and will you be able to mount a winch in there anyplace?

i will put the entire bumper on the digital weight balance we got here! and it will tell exactly but if i had to guess i would say around 50-60 pounds already

yes i will mount a plate to fix winch on it,with aluminium hawse .theres alot of space inside ill take a picture of clearance betwen rad and bumper!

Wow that's great! I would love to have those skills.

I've actually been debating buying a welder and tube bender from harbor freight and just practicing.

Can't wait to see the final results, sounds like a GREAT mod list.

Nice work! Im interested in seeing a side profile shot to check out the approach angle, looks like you lost some. Keep up the good work!

,i dont have a picture yet but i installed my 1 inch wheel spacers from rugged ridge lug centered and i gotta say no vibration AT ALL ,i meen ive heard horro storys about lug centered spacers ,maybe they just dont know how to install them properly or they had poor quality products.anyways tighten them by hand first and putted red tread locker,my tires are gonna be installed thursday 285/70/17 MK2'S

That's an awful big tire for your lift but should fit with the front bumper and spacers. Can't wait to see how it looks when it's done.

ok so im sorry for delay and phone pics but heres the result,i had only 1 inch spacers and i have alot of clearance with stock sport 17 inch rims and 285/75/17 km2's does not even comes close to rubbing the uca's but defenetly need to change front bumper,my lift was only the 2.5 from daystar!
