Here are a few shots from my trip to the Chiricahua mountains in SE Arizona last weekend. We even came across a flock of wild turkeys. They are in the process of repopulating the mountain range with turkeys from Mexico. They have blue faces (and spoke spanish of course).

that's a pretty cool camper you got there... dont really know much about them, but what is that small tent in the back for? other than storage and a grill what other features does it have?

When folded out the primary tent has a walk in floor area that is big enough for a small table and two chairs or a couple of cots if you wanted to sleep 2 extra folks in there. You also have the queen size bed and storage on the trailer portion.

The main features are rugged construction for off road use, two burner stove with broiler. 12V Waeco 85 qt Fridge/Freezer, 15 gal water tank with SS kitchen area and sink. Mine is configured with a diesel heater that can keep it comfortable in freezing conditions. The trailer has surge and electric brakes on Dexter independent suspension.

Depending on weather conditions, you can just flip it open for simple use or add the full length porch roof, or even canvas sides that enclose the whole 200 SQ ft area with the trailer completly inside.

I'm adding a zip on back tent addition about the size of a closet that will be for a Porta potti and shower. :biggrin2:

They have about 2400 of these on the road in Australia for use in the outback. They just started importing them to the US a couple years ago.

Thanks. I kinda wondered into the 4Runner mods and this off road camping trailer through this and other 4Runner forum's input. I didn't have a firm plan when I started but with the help of other's experience and suggestions I ended up with the set of mods I'm running with now and the King Kamper. For me, it's a perfect combo. :biggrin2: :biggrin2:
