Chrome Exhaust Tip

OK, anybody have any idea how to install this thing? Can't figure out what the two spacer looking things are -- or where they go. If they are spacers, they don't seem to fit the contour of the exhaust pipe (they do fit the inner contour of the exhaust tip). Other parts in the kit are of course, the tip and clamp. Tried it without the "spacers" and the clamp when fully tightened was still loose.

Thoughts? BTW, its Part Number: PT932-89100 and it didn't come with instructions......

is it a valor tip?

if so... use pliers or something of the sort to loosen the bolt until it comes out of the clamp, put the clamp on the tip, slide it on the pipe (HAHAHA, sorry) and then putt the screw back into the clamp and tighten it with your pliers!

Nope, the clamp is at full lock and it still doesn't hold. It's a Toyota part. I've emailed TRD Sparks Toyota for a install instructions.

Is it the valor tip for the 4Runner?

i don't think so. But i believe Toyota contracted Valor to make tips for the 4th gens.
