CL Locker find. Need help in TN area.

I found a locked rear axle in Nashville area and I live in Northern Ohio. It's already off of the vehicle and they are unsure of the ratio. Being hopeful, I'm hoping someone could go and inspect this for me before I commit to buying it and drive down. Would like to know the ratio and that it spins freely.

I live in TN, but unfortunately, I'm super busy and don't have time to drive into Antioch. All the car dealers/ part out guys are super shady in that part of town. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Yeah I've called several places around Nashville before asking about parts and it never gives you a secure feeling with them.

you need to do a few tests, first thing is to find the ratio. do the spin test. have someone hold one out put and spin the input exactly 21.5 times, if the output spins exactly 10 times its a 4.30, if it spins a bit less than that its 4.10. you can tell on the door sticker, if its an automatic and says a04a then its most likely a 4.30. if its a manual and says a03a its most likely the 4.10.

second test is with a 9v battery to test the locker, if someone has a link for how to test for that it would be really helpful. youll want a new 9v batter with the connector and stripped leads coming out of it, then you touch the contacts with the wires, if it locks the output shafts together you are good, if it hums and does nothing, you may be looking at having to refurbish the motor(not really a big deal, but it could also be fried).
