Classic--Why did I do that moment. Please help!

Hi there,

I was changing the PCV and some how managed to snap one of these (what I believe to be) vacuum connectors.

It's attached to the hose that attaches to the PCV. The piece came clean off and I used a good amount of super glow to reattach it. I believe it to be back to normal but i'm still worried about. There's a piece of foam that goes on top of it and then the rubber hose that connects to the pcv valve (that is now brand new!).

Anyway, how do I even replace this thing? I don't see anyway for it to come out..

From what I can find it looks like it is called a "Cap, Ventilation" with a part number of 1223550020.

Can't help you on removal, but I am guessing that it snaps in. Maybe once you buy one you can see how it would go in. Then it is just a matter of carefully removing the old brittle one.
