Woof, July and August? Gonna be hot.

I'm down. I won't know my schedule before I get back to work, but I'll post up what weekends I've got free in a couple days.

Man, I'd LOVE to do that, but I have no idea what my schedule is going to be like right now--my old construction company didn't get enough contracts this year, so I may be with another one of those outfits, or if I'm lucky, I may get on with the oil fields up in ND. Some of those oil companies alternate two weeks on, two off, so with a place like that I could conceivably go in between if it hits right. I'd be making enough to add some more hard parts in the rig to further bulletproof it, and would really look forward to running it out there! I'll let you know what's up later.

Hence the reason I'm starting this months before. Hopefully we can all line up a weekend. really doesn't even need to be a weekend in my case.

Lets pick a weekend in OCT. Nothing really happens in OCT anyway.

As people post up when would be good with them (dates) I will update these pictures so everyone can look at one spot to see what dates seem to be the most popular.

I'll start. I have a week in SEP and a week in OCT marked. If someone thinks July or August will be better I will add these calenders.

I just got back from Moab and am unpacking. I'm ready to go back.

CLASSICS ONLY?!

I have been there in July and August and it can be 100*-120* during the day. It is a dry heat (dryer than Colorado) so it is bearable. The nice thing is that the trails aren't busy.

Hey Chris.:worthless

Are we really talking just a weekend here? I'm four hours away, that's barely practical for me and I think I'm the closest. For folks that need to drive 8 hours or longer (looking at you, Denver), we should be planning on at least three days of wheeling to make it worthwhile.

I'm fine with the summer heat down there, I just don't get out and hike or bike in it. And whoever said the trails will be empty is exactly right.

Yeah I'm a lot further than the 4 or 8 so I know for sure that I will be looking at at least 4 to 5 days on the trails/camping to make it worth it. But I really want to make a trip and would love to do a t4r group.

Once we nail down some dates then everyone can join up and do what they can time wise.
