Is clay harder than mud when wet? I don't really think it would be unless it was a clay pit.

Edit: I meants harder to wheel in.

Well there isn't much mud in my neck of the woods, lots of sand and this red clay. In heavy rain the sand washes out of the clay and it gets real slick, worse than snow and ice. When its dry, it gets dusty and the dust clings to just about every square inch of your vehicle. So the best time to go is after a rain, no nasty dust and you get the best traction.

Hahahaha yal should come down to Alabama. Every dirt road is red clay. And yes its much harder to drive on muddy clay! Imagine hydroplaning nonstop. Thats about what its like.

I usually go to the car wash and pay $8. After that you just got to get inside the hood and clean up the engine bay.

Haha I bet $8 would wash that off. But I have to spend about 3 hours down in the back yard with the pressure washer to clean mine after ridin dirt roads or going to a clay pit.

This is a clay pit.
