How do these feel compared to the factory leather? I have an 08 Limited and the seats flat out feel cheap and fake and honestly, I hate them. I would love to get these in either black/gray or dark gray/gray with some color stitching to accent. But, if they are the same "quality" of my OEM, I'll pass.

Can you compare them at all?

It's cuz you got spoiled by the fine leather in the R!

Yes, that is very possible, the R's seats were the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in, just perfect. Our XC90 has great leather as well.

It's not really that these actual seats are uncomfortable, the actual product just seems really plastic-y and cheap.

The R was the only car I've ever had where you could take a full day long trip and not get out super sore. Our Lincoln LS was close, but the R was on a different level.
 
I agree, the R had some of the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. I took many 4-hr plus road trips to get up to the mountains in NH and VT without really needing to stop and stretch.

I start to get uncomfortable after about 2 hours in the 4Runner. My fiance's VW is even worse, both in terms of being uncomfortable and and the leather feeling really plastic/fake.

want to order the clazzio seat covers...my truck is 05 sr5..i believe the seats are manual...could some1 verify this?

hit a snag while installing my seat covers...seems clazzio sent a wrong order, mine is 05, they sent 06 copvers, the fronts fit, but the rears is where the problem is........quite unhappy!, and they are custom orders, thus not returnable
 
It doesn't work like that. You pay for a set of 05 covers, you get a set of 05 covers. custom or not, the shop screwed up and needs to make it right.

If you ordered '05 and they sent you '06 then that's their fault and they should make it right. If you ordered '06 thinking they would fit then that's on you.
 
i ordered for an 05, btw a quick question: mine is an 05 with 3rd row option, am wondering if there is a difference in the 2nd row seats btw runners w/3rd row and runners w/o 3rd row.
why i ask this is- the instruction manual clazzios sent with the order, the pics are mirror images to what i have. all 4 runners 03-05 have 2nd row seats made up of 2 parts -1]. 1 single seater and 2]. a 2 seater. in mine the 2 seater is behind the drivers seat and the single seater behind the passenger seat, while on the installation manual they sent the 2 seater is behind the passenger seat and 1 seater behind the drivers seat!..and thats how the seat covers were designed....so my question is can someone who has an 05 4runner w/o 3rd confirm the configuration of his 2nd row seats?. ..secondly - an 06 upwards 4runner is shown in the manual attached and the 2nd row seats shown are 2 piece type [back rest is a separate unit from the bottom part, my pals 06 has this config]

it going to be a little tough rectifying the error, cos i placed the order in march....item was shipped out and received in aug{12-16wks waiting time for custom orders] ...was then transshipped out of the usa n got to me in dec . then the site www.clazzioseatcovers.com that i registered and placed the order no longer works, appears to have been replaced by clazzios.com which i tried logging in with my previous ID but was unable to...so itreally looks like a fine pickle i hv gotten myself into

YEAH, WILL MOST DEF DO THAT, HV SHOT THEM AN EMAIL..........will give them a call after the holidays...this has really taken the shine off my joy at having clazzios in my truck.
