Clean 2DR on Craigslist

Its not mine but I found it just kinda looking around, thought some of you might be interested.

1990 toyota 4runner 4x4

2 doors are the only second gen I'd actually own. This one has some things which I'd remove, but it has potential if no rust.

I would want a stocker to start with... 3.4 swap, r150f 5speed, 93-95 front end, SAS or LT...

I think that 4runner is really clean for 4k id low ball him at like 3500 or 3k but I wonder what he has in the rear if its got a locker or spool or welded and if its 5speed and what motor does it have and the rims look fancy.

2-doors are the last second gen I'd own. No point in a two door 4runner that you can't take the top off, that's worst of both worlds.

And that bumper. Blech. What domestic monstrosity did he rob that from? Put a stock bumper on, pitch the body lift, sell those stoopid blingy wheels and way-too-big tires for money to do real mods and maybe he'd have a truck there.

That is the stock bumper. The lower valance has just been chromed.

those both are pretty sexy, that second one looks clean but its scary buying something that much over book with so much done to it. You never know how the conversion was done or if any corners were cut that will bit you down the road

True enough. I think you'd have to really know what your looking at, but his build thread is on multiple sites, step by step. It's a cool truck, but if the top doesn't come off, I don't want it!

I agree the price is a little steep for the condition of the body.

nooo. it looks great. as big a tire you can clear with minimal lift is where its at.

altho, I agree with the first part. 2 door, and no removable top, and a 3.0? 3 strikes...
