Ya the Windex household type stuff just doesn't cut it for automotive use.arra said:Stupid question, I know, but what do you all use to clean the inside of your 4R windows? Seems like everything I try using streaks. You know, Windex, that sort of stuff. It all streaks. Drives me nuts. Thanks to all.
Most important is not the cleaner but your wiping rag. If you are using paper towels then that is a major problem. Use anything but paper towels. I use Windex and polypropylene shop towels.Seems like everything I try using streaks.
We used automotive glass cleaner and paper towel in our detail shop to clean glass for the last 5 years....it works great, just don't use Windex.dcampen said:Most important is not the cleaner but your wiping rag. But if I don't use paper towels then I can use any glass cleaner, such as Windex.Automotive glass cleaner + Paper towel works. Period!
