Cleaned Up

Here are a couple of shots of my ride after cleaning it up today. I have been hanging out for a little while now, but haven't shared any pics since my 4Runner hasn't been clean. But with the warm weather in NC today I took advantage of it and used my time wisely. Here is a little shine.

Here is a shot of my Revo's. Had a set on my last vehicle so when I drove of the lot with the 4Runner I headed straight to the tire shop.

Here are some custom mats from GG Bailey. I wasn't thrilled with how light in color the Toyo mats were and how they showed the dirt. I also thought they were pretty light weight. So I went with mats that matched the seat color. I wasn't sure I would like it, but have been pleasantly surprised.

Looks great, it really shows off the metallic flakes in the paint.

I like the floor mats, they don't look out of place at all like a lot of non-OEM mats do. Hm..I may just have to get a set for myself.

Very nice truck! You did a great job cleaning it. It really shines like it is brand new. Also, is that your BMW 5-series in the background? If so, what model and how do you like it?

Yes, it is a 5-series BMW--a 2001 530i--and I love it. Very different from the 4Runner, but a great car. It definitely has some get up and go! It has the sport suspension so it is very "tight" when you are driving it.

That is one clean 4runner! I wish it was that warm here so I can wash mine too. My 4runner is dirty as dookie!

Yep, a big Wildcat fan here--a difficult thing in this part of basketball country! Living in Durham, NC and am surrounded by UNC and Duke! I graduated from UK in '89. Graduated from Ft. Knox High School--was an Army brat! Are you originally from KY or just a Cats fan?

Thanks for the compliments about the rig. I love it and am hoping to do more mods as I get the cash. My next thing on the 'to do' list is a lift kit. Found a place that will do it so now I just have to put it into the budget.

But, I like Louisville as well. Pitino is a fraternity brother and a hell of a coach.....
