Cleaning and Conditioning Softex Seats

Good question - I too was wondering what to use. I went with this & go figure I love it for the Softex (like all Adams products) it doesn't disappoint.

My wife's camry has Softex and I use Chemical Guys InnerClear. Has UV protection in it, dust repellent, and cleans very well. Also you can wipe down electronics and the dashboard too. Oh and it has a nice pineapple smell.

I just looked on their website and I about spit out my Yuengling....they have a can of wax for $2700. Is this for real or a misprint?

Hate to resurrect this thread from the dead, but was wondering about proper cleaning of the Softex interior. Noticed the manual mentions a 1% Woolite solution for cleaning synthetic leather areas, but for leather areas it mentions a 5% Woolite solution.

Bottom line, I've already got a 5% Woolite solution for my wife's Limited, but I'd like to avoid having a 2nd spray bottle with a 1% solution. Do you think they recommend the lower solution for Softex since it's more fragile (I'd think the opposite), or simply because it's easier to clean dirt from? When you get down to it, the leather in the Limited is pigmented, so it's got a synthetic coating on it anyway.

I use Aerospace for most synthetic surfaces on my vehicles as it is, so I think I'll also use it to treat my Softex (I'd only use the Woolite solution on occasion, once it appears dirty)

The 303Aerospace is really the best stuff I have seen out there. Used it on my boat for 6 years and sold it looking like new, and that spent a LOT of time out in the sun and the vinyl was still as soft and pliable as the new boats coming off the line.

It's not cheap, but a little goes a long way and it doesn't "build up" like other cleaners will in the corners.

With a stubborn spot, I'll hit it with Spray Nine or Magic Eraser and follow up with a couple applications of 303 and all is well.

I use and love 303 but I do notice that there are marks typically left behind from...my behind...or elbows or other body parts that rest on the material. By marks I mean sheen vs no sheen/flat.

Yep, I've noticed the same thing. it does leave a thin coating behind since that's how it protects so well.

I think I've already been through like 3 or 4 32oz bottles of the stuff over the years. That and Duragloss Aquawax are my go-to detailing products!
