Cleaning up marks from the trail?

I have a few scratches from low hanging branches. I can’t feel them with my fingernail so I feel like they could buff out.

What is the best method/product to remove them?

My last 4runner was red and I picked up some noticeable trail pinstriping. I used Meguiars scratch remover and was able to get most of it out.

General rule of thumb with detailing:

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it won’t come out. My input is the scratch remover as described above me, or using polish and wax to get it out

I managed to get quite a bit of "trail pinstriping" on my last run up the mountain. I used the Meguiars Scratch Remover and Polishing Compound together. Unless you get the light at just the right angle, you can't see them anymore. Just be prepared to REALLY get a workout on those arms!

Get one of them harbor freight Dual Action Variable Speed polishers and a polishing set by Chemical Brothers off amazon. The DAVS won’t be harsh enough to burn the paint and the chemical brothers junk is cheap but good enough for your less than normal paint correction.

Watch some YouTube videos, get a free day off and have fun making that TRD shine!
