Cleaning window switches

After completely dismantling my power window system on the driver's door of my 94, I determined that I have a bad switch. The window will roll down every time, but only wants to roll up sometimes. I'm a little frustrated that I didn't figure it out in the first place, but at least I learned something new...

So the master window switch seemed to have had something spilled on it by a previous owner. I'm guessing pop by the stickiness. I separated the buttons from the contact points and cleaned the whole unit up with rubbing alcohol. Put it all back together and I still have the same problem.

Anything else that would work well to clean this up or am I out $40 for a new master switch? Also if it is screwed where is the best place to buy one. Best price I've found are salvaged ones on ebay around $30+shipping. THANKS!
