Clear bra owners, would you do it again?

I just picked up a 2011 TE 4runner saturday, and am really wrestling with the decision to put a clear bra on it, especially after talking to someone at my dealers body shop, he said that in his opintion it is not worth it..

Those that have had it done, would you do it again..??

Glocke12, IMO I would not buy a new vehicle in this part of the world without it. We have lots of debris(rocks) on the roads here for some reason and it destroys the paint and front windows of our cars and trucks. The window I can't help but the paint I can. In the end I 3M'd the whole front end. The lights, hood, a pillars, mirrors and roof line(8") back from the window. So far so good. If the 3M wears/tears or fades its cheaper to replace than a paint job. Hope this helps. Also you may not have rocks in your area but if you have bugs it can help protect your paint from their corrosive body acids.

Did alot of research the past 24 hours (lots of useful posts on here)...People who have it think its great...

Im going to get it done...From the installer:

"Our
most common application is the complete kit. This includes an extended
upper kit
that covers your hood, fenders, and mirror caps, as well as a lower kit
that offers edge-to-edge protection of your front bumper."

Im also getting the headlights covered..total price is 650, which also includes tinting the front two windows to match the factory tint.

Hopefully this will help to keep it like new...For the time being its going to be a weekend vehicle only...Im going to use my old beat up 97 dodge ram for my daily 32 mile commute to work and back...Sounds silly, but I just cant bring myself to put a bunch of wear and tear on the 4runner just yet. Ive had it since saturday and it only has 107 miles on it so far.

I had my hood, lights, mirrors and the rockers done along with the door edges and the rear hatch bottom, as it gets scratched up. didnt do the front bumper as I bought mine used and a respray is cheaper then the film. I have it on all my cars, sometimes it does turn yellow after a few years but for the most part I find it works good...
