Alright so I call this a bull/push bar...

now I know it's not going to protect anything and a lot of you claim it will cause more damage...fine. But for mounting lights I want it there. How far away does it stick from your '96 - '98? Are you able to fabricate it to be right next to the bumper if it does stick out a lot?

I'm going for offroad lights and I want them closer to the ground not this mount to stock bumper junk...I have two headlights at that height already don't want two more the same because I have them adjusted farther up.

So what say you? Will the bull bar I'm looking at stick out too far? Anybody mounted their lights on the bottom of the bumper? Remember my valance is cut to show/fit tires and have license plate.

Edit: scratch the bottom of bumper idea...the lights will be torn off in no time with the offroading that I do.

Thats the exact same bull bar I had on my rig for about a year I guess. In the pic you can see how far it sticks out...I didn't think it was too bad but if you're going to mount it to the location its made for thats where it will sit. I mounted two Hella 500 lights to it and it worked out pretty good for me. I wheeled with it on there and the only issue was that it dimished my approach angle. If you decide you want it, PM me cause its just sitting here collecting dust...
