"Click" Sound from Front Brakes When Apply Brakes

I keep hearing a "click" sound from the front disc brake area on an '08 4Runner when I apply the brakes----and the car is moving. If the vehicle is already stopped----and release and then reapply the brakes----it is quiet, there is no "click" sound.

I can only hear the sound when the windows are rolled-down (think it is coming from the right front wheel)----if the windows are all rolled-up, the sound is just about not noticeable.

Could a retaining spring/clip be missing? Any other ideas?

Check & see if you have 1 & 2 clips on calipers ? Fixed mine by adding 1 xtra per side , cheap from napa .
