Does anyone have a clicking brake pedal? I swear I can hear a click every time I step on it. I wasn't aware of it before, you could hear it over the normal "air sound"... Anyone? Debating bringing her in for service...

It's the release that let's you shift out of park that makes the clicking sound.

I do hear some kinda traction control kick in if i am hitting the gas on a hill too steep. Never when I am normally driving though. Sounds like some fishy dealer business to me.

I went in yesterday to have them check it out. Apparently it's normal... Anyone else have this issue? I think they're pulling my leg haha
Do a search on this site and you'll see lots of thread about it. I do have it, more like an hissing sound than a click.

Haha... Funny thing about that is I hear the click after I'm able to shift from park. Maybe a half inch before the click is when I can shift.

Guys...The switch has another end and it does not disappear after the vehicle is put in gear. It clicks. To me that is reassuring and letting me know everything is working lol.

You know what, you're both right, there IS definitely something wrong with both these trucks. You'd best get them to the dealer asap.

First off, I know I know... Holy Thread Revival! But couldn't find much while searching, the OP never really found the cause of his noise, and the thread is less than a year old so I figured I'd give it a bump instead of clogging up the forum with a similar posting.
I've started to notice the same issue on my rig. A "clicking" noise, like 2 parts tapping each other after about 2 inches of brake pedal travel. Only happens intermittently as well. No rhyme or reason like cold weather or after long road trips. Completely random.
Did the obligatory crawl under the dash to try to see if I could find the source, but nothing obvious. Perhaps the oddest part is if I give the brake pedal a good shaking back and forth, the noise will 9 times out of 10 disappear. Has come back in an hour one time, and 500 miles later another.
It's def not the "hissing" sound described by some that seems common to all brake systems or other common brake noises and does not cause any adverse effects other than getting on my nerves.
So far I've done all my maintenance myself but was thinking of having the dealer do my 30K given the weather here as of late....of course the noise will surely disappear during its stay in the shop.
Just wondering if any others have dealt with this and found the cause. Could be worse given this is literally the first and only issue (if you could call it that) I've had in almost 30K miles.....love my 'Yota!

I noticed this on my trail the other day. It only has 1300 miles on it. I have not done any further investigating though. Just thought I would chime in.

This click at your ft brake pedal or outside at brake itself ?

Inside around the foot brake pedal. To me it really sounds like a momentary switch clicking, and I thought it was a mechanical brake switch making, but then after some quick paying attention, I could see that the brake lights were coming on well before the clicking.
