Anyone here occasional intermittent clicks possibly from the console as the 4runner shifts side to side?
The sound is probably coming from the driver's seat. This is a known issue for the 4th gen 4Runner.

I had the dealer check the driver seat and said that the seat was bolted down properly. No problem found according to them. Hmmm....
It's not that the seat isn't bolted down properly. The issue has something to do with the seat track mechanism. Try doing a search of the forum and you should be able to find all kinds of good info on the subject. You might find that your 4Runner does have the same issue, so check it out...
