Climate Control - Your problems? fixes? experiences?

My climate control works, but doesn't seem to turn completely off

I read through this and didn't see a fix for if the climate control won't turn all the way off. If I turn the fan rotary switch to the off position I can still hear the fan running and light air comes out of vents. Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it?

As I stated above, I fought with mine for a few hours and didn't have any luck...it looked like someone before me had added solder to the board, so I mostly tried to pull the stuff off using copper mesh...but couldn't get it to function right.

I sent mine off to [MENTION=107674]JRZEE2000TR4LTD[/MENTION] on Wednesday, it got there Friday, and he shipped it out on Saturday. I should see it around Tuesday and will report back. Fee was well within reason with new LED's installed and he was easy to work with.

Strange, the "Pre LCD" Digital climate control on the JDM surfs is pretty reliable, the only think I really hear about is the lights on the sliders going, and occasional dry colder joints.

Me? My (1UZ) compressor failed.

Installed my repaired one from Jon yesterday, works great! I love having the outside temperature control and the defrost/floor setting!

Mine has acted up ever since I bought it and finally got bored enough to look at it. The problem with mine was the buttons internal contact was warn out so I took the caps off the buttons flipped the little copper contact and bent it a lil but for good measure and now everything works the way it should!
