Clock keeps resetting

Hello everyone,

I have an '07 v6 SE and the digital clock (which is integrated with the AC control display) keeps resetting every time I turn off the truck and start it back up. It displays any random time. For example: I'll shut the truck off at 1:30 and when I start it again it might show 4:22 or something crazy like that. It happens 8 out of ten times that I shut the truck off and restart it. Also it seems that the display flickers a little bit as if it wasn't making a good connection wherever it is plugged into.

The flickering could be caused by the bulb for the backlighting. Mine flickered since it was new.

hmmm... i'll try taking it out and plugging it back in. It happened after I had a car audio place install a blue sea fuse block which I dont understand how it works to be honest.

Sounds like a bad connection. Maybe they didn't connect the wiring harness for the clock completely after taking the dash apart.

Whenever the clock resets it's losing power, even for just a moment.
